City of Baneberry Events

Residents are invited to the annual Oktoberfest celebration at the Community Center.

LOCATION: Community Center/City Hall Building
SEC will be serving traditional bockwurst (brats), würstl (beef dogs), sauerkraut, brezen (pretzels) and bierkäse (beer cheese dip). Residents are welcome to bring a dish to share.

Oktoberfest dish ideas:

  1. schweinshaxe (pork shank),
  2. knödel (potato dumplings),
  3. kartoffelpuffer (potato pancakes),
  4. käsespätzle (German Cheese Spaetzle),
  5. kasbrettl (Bavarian cheese board),
  6. halbes hendl (roast chicken),
  7. lebkuchenherz (Gingerbread heart),
  8. spätzle, and
  9. apple strudel

Dust off your lederhosen and dirndls, and get ready to party with your favorite neighbors.
