City of Baneberry Events

Residents are invited to the annual Oktoberfest celebration at the Community Center.

LOCATION: Community Center/City Hall Building
Dust off your lederhosen and dirndls, and get ready to party with your favorite neighbors.
Traditional bockwurst (brats), würstl (beef dogs), sauerkraut, brezen (pretzels) and bierkäse (beer cheese dip) will be served.

Residents are encouraged to bring a dish to share:

  1. schweinshaxe (pork shank),
  2. knödel (potato dumplings),
  3. kartoffelpuffer (potato pancakes),
  4. käsespätzle (German Cheese Spaetzle),
  5. kasbrettl (Bavarian cheese board),
  6. halbes hendl (roast chicken),
  7. lebkuchenherz (Gingerbread heart),
  8. spätzle, and
  9. apple strudel are some themed ideas.
