The City of Baneberry is seeking to fill the position of Administrative Assistant.
Description: Performs general administrative, clerical, cleaning, and bookkeeping duties.
These duties would include, but are not limited to public communications, facility rental, permit and inspection processing, report preparation and filing, accounts payable, as well as attendance at and preparation of the meeting minutes for the City Commission and other associated Commissions and Committees.
Qualifications: Ability to interact with the public in a professional and congenial manner. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written. Proficient in Microsoft Office (e.g. Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.). Able to interface with online systems, such as QuickBooks Online and regulatory reporting platforms. Schedule flexibility.
SCHEDULE: 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
Two days per week but will need to be flexible for up to 4 days per week with sufficient notice.
WAGE: $15 per hour
BENEFITS: 5 Paid Holidays
Classification: Part-time, Non-Exempt
Anticipated Start Date: October 9, 2023
