Int’l Food Night—Mexican: May 5 (Cinco de Mayo)

Residents are invited to the Community Center for a Cinco de Mayo, Mexican, International Food Night.

Come celebrate Cinco de Mayo* with traditional Mexican dinner dishes, including a nacho bar hosted by SEC (Social & Entertainment Committee), churros and margarita mix. Residents are welcome to bring a themed food or dessert dish to share.

*Cinco de Mayo, (translates from Spanish to English as “Fifth of May”) also called the Anniversary of the Battle of Puebla, is a holiday celebrated in parts of Mexico and the United States honoring a military victory over the French forces of Napoleon III in 1862.
